Selling my beautiful Rolleiflex 3.5F Type 3 Twin Lens Reflex kit. The camera is in great shape. No dents, dings, tears or scratches. It was CLA'd by Paul Ebel in early 2014, adjusted to "factory specs" and used hardly at all since then as I upgraded to a 6x9 system after sending this out to Paul. Shutter speeds are accurate, film transport and focusing are smooth as is the action of the shutter speed and aperture dials. The lenses and optics are very clean without any issues of any kind. Flash synch and self-timer operate as they should. The meter is responsive to light but I can't vouch for its accuracy as I always use a hand-held meter.
Included with the camera are the following:
1. Original Rolleiflex leather case and strap. It comes with the removable drop front panel, light meter cover, and hard-to-find light meter diffuser (for taking ambient readings). The case is usable as-is but it does require re-stitching along one edge of one panel (see photo). It is in otherwise nice condition with only a few scuffs (see photo), the leather is not at all dried out and exhibits a nice patina. The strap is in excellent condition- no tears, fraying, cracks, etc, and the scissor clips are in very good shape.
2. 2 (two) Focusing Screens (not pictured as I'd rather not handle them). Original Rolleiflex screen with grid and center focus circle. There are a few very light scratches on the outermost edges where the mounting springs contact it and are not at all visible once the screen is mounted into its frame. Maxwell Hi-Lux Brilliant Matte focusing screen. It is in excellent condition with no issues of any kind. This screen greatly increases image brightness for ease of focusing. It can also be focused at any point in its field eliminating the need to center spot focus and then recompose as is necessary with the original screen.
3. 2 (two) viewfinders. Original Rolleiflex Waist-level finder. Excellent condition with no issues of any kind. Rolleiflex Eye-level 45' Prism Finder with case. The exterior housing of the finder has 2 faint scuffs which are visible only with close inspection. I could not get these to show up in the photos. The optics in the finder are pristine and the zippered case in in near-perfect condition.
4. Rolleinar I Bay II Close-up filter in original leather case. Near mint condition.
5. 3 (three) Rolleiflex lens filters in original leather cases. UV, Yellow, and Green. All in excellent condition.
6. Rolleiflex Hand Grip with original leather strap and shutter release cable. Excellent condition.
7. Original Matte finish hinged lens cover. Excellent condition.
8. Rolleiflex Metal Lens Shade with leather case and original box. All in very good condition.
9. Original Users Manual. Very good condition.
I'd prefer to sell this kit AS a kit and am not prepared at this time to piece it out. But this could change.
Asking $1750, Paypal fees included. I will consider all reasonable offers. CONUS only shipping and at actual cost with packing.
