Rolleiflex 2.8C, Rolleinar 2 close-up lens, Rolleifix for tripods, Bay III to 49mm filter adapter.
Classic ten-bladed Rolleiflex 2.8C (serial 1285143) in very good shape. I've had this for about 2 years and it's been a really good performer. I purchased a Rick Oleson screen, and even though I've done my own installation of a new screen with a different tlr in the past, I sent it to Dan Daniel do the honors and to make sure the lenses were correctly collimated. The focusing mirror is clean with a few dust spots. The taking lens is what I would consider good to very good. There is what looks like a smudge spot at 12:00 on the taking lens, it looks like a bit of discoloration of the lens coating, nothing like fungus. Also, there are some air bubbles on one the internal lens elements, none of these have affected performance. Shutter speeds sound correct, the self timer works.
Rolleinar lens is in excellent condition and the bay III to 49mm adapter makes it convenient to use more modern size filters. Of course, very important to use the Rolleifix for tripod mounting. I never got around to obtaining alligator clips for camera straps, instead I used a simple fix I read online (I think here), using binder clips. Not very elegant, but they do the job. Original Rolleiflex lens cap included.
