Just received from Shopgoodwill.com in poor condition.
Shutter operates but not tested, will CLA it eventually.
1. what is the correct focusing screen, I don't need a extra bright one?
2. left side strap guide broken, anyone have one for low $?

That's a funny coincidence, I received 1.202.268 a few days ago https://www.oddcameras.com/rolleiflex_automat_4.htm. Mine is a Automat 4, yours, according to the number, should be an intermediate model between 3 and 4, sometimes called X because of the X-sync as standard, it doesn't have the the sync switch of the 4.

Mine, said to be original and haven't been touched since the early 70s, has a grided screen. I wish you good luck hunting for the spare parts...

The screen is standard 56x62mm, any Automat or C/D/E screen with non-removable hood. If you want a ground glass one, drop me a note, I have a few of them.

The strap lug screw holes are same spacing as later models. Foe some reason I have three spare right side ones and no left side ones. Go figure. If you go for a new set, watch the mechanism for removing the back.

Officially the model with X-sync only was called Rolleiflex Automat with no model letter or number, or Rolleiflex 3,5 since the 2,8A model also existed at this period in time. The sturdier viewing hood and magnifier made it the first model with a major redesign after WWII. The upgraded model with M/X sync is called Rolleiflex 3,5A.
