For sale is a very clean Rolleicord Vb, serial number 2642***, making it a late Type 1 (likely 1965-66). Like all Vb Rolleicords, this one has the 4-element Schneider Xenar lens.
This one is in very nice user condition, with a few small areas of finish loss or dullness, but no dents or dings. The glass in both taking and viewing lenses is clean and clear, free of haze, cleaning marks, scratches or other blemishes. While I have no paperwork documenting a CLA, this camera came to me (from Igor's Camera Exchange) with the claim of a recent CLA. All functions are smooth, including transport and focusing, and the shutter and self-timer all run strong. The focusing screen is a standard Rollei screen with a rangefinder spot in the center surrounded by a very fine Fresnel lens. The latter is bright to the edges and is fine enough to focus easily if you don't use the split image spot.
I will note that when focusing on a distant object that should be at the infinity mark, the focus knob actually shows a distance just short of infinity. However, I have checked the focus at various distances using a ground glass at film plane and a loupe to compare with what you see in the finder, and focus is dead on.
Included with the camera is a plastic lens cap and the original leather case, which is in very good condition.
$285 shipped in the CONUSA. PayPal preferred, and I will cover the fees. I will ship abroad, but you will have to cover the shipping.
Thanks for looking.
