Rolleicord III has Compur-Rapid-shutter. But drawing in Compur-Repair-Manual is only showing inner shutter threads. Outer thread just below bayonet bay 1 is certainly M29,5 x0.5F. i tested with pinhole M22x0,75F-adapter by RAFCAMERA. But dont use the actual 4mm one wherever except Seiko 0(tested). 4mm is too thin to stay inside with the very short maybe 1.5mm thread i see. Workaround is making 6.5mm adapter. Now i want to verify my finding with see a drawing of the situation when lens is removed. the thin black ring is the thread.total distance to base: 8.4mm. to thread: 1.7mm. difference 6.7mm. so 6.5mm thick adapter is the solution. NB: M22-pinholeplate by cosmos Circle in their pinhole-shutter is used. plates without thread will be integrated in a way.

Gotta say that I am not certain what you are looking for. Notations on the photo pointing out specific items in text would be needed. Here's a spec sheet of threading on Compur shutters, but it sounds as if you have this already-

https://skgrimes.com/products/shutters/compur-shutters/

Be aware that the bayonet mount is part of the lens shroud assembly on Rolleicords (and Rolleiflexes and Autocords and Yashicamats, etc.). It is NOT attached to the shutter body itself. So I would not use it as an optical reference surface. For a pinhole, it should be close enough? If I needed precise mounting to a Compur shutter body I would use the shutter body front threading itself. I might take an old front cell focusing setup off of a folder and break out the lens elements to get a more precise assembly.

Various ridges and such that may look like threading on Rollei lenses and bayonets may also be concentric circles, not threads, designed to break up reflection or such.

yes Don Gum did that, removing lens and taking the ring. since i was working with rafcamera-adapter and cosmos circle plate i must first have and check the system of skinkpinhole of kollmorgen.

maybe best deleting post since i have more precise information. did more precise measurement about outer thread. rafcamera must make a longer adapt for longer adapter. good thing about skinkpinhole: it has M43 filterthread!!!
