Rollei Superpan 200

So has anyone tried the New Rollei Superpan 200 yet?

I have one roll of 35mm shot through an R72 filter and need some starting times in Rodinal, Rodinal Special (Studional) or Rollei's RHS developer.

Maco (Rollei) states, that the develpoment times are the same as for Rollei IR.

Well I went with the same dilution and time for the Rollei IR 400 in their RHS developer and it worked out fine, thanks Andreas.

I am surprised at how much of an infrared effect this new Superpan 200 film has produced. Here is a scan from a quick 10x7 RC print I did last night from a roll of 35mm film taken on a sunny day in September with an R72 filter.

200 ISO without the filter and 6 ISO with the R72.

Yes I did shoot some of it without a filter but didn't print yet.

Rollei RHS 1:9 for 7 minutes at 20 degrees celcius.

Who is selling it in the UK?

Is this the cheap film I was reading about or has the price risen since its official release?

I think the price did go up after its official launch but you can get it for €3 per roll of 35mm if you buy 10 rolls from macodirect, which is where I get all my Infrared films. I don't know of any UK suppliers who have it. Its not listed on Silverprint or Retrophotographic's web sites.

Interesting, in maco-direct the datasheet is for aviphot from AGFA.

This film is aviphot cut for 35mm. Maco communicated this right from the beginning.
