So, I'm thinking about trying out Rollei Ortho 25 film, though I am quite overwhelmed by the sheer number of ways one can develop this film. And this just for pictorial use. Rodinal, R09, RHC/RLC/RHS, not to mention the countless other developers on the market (Perceptol comes to mind).

What would be a good developer to start out with, for portraits/landscape/continuous tone images?
