And the three-digit SCA adapters are still analog, the four-dogit ones do the adapting digitally.

Now that I have the SCA-356 working I can use it with my SL3003. This is pretty nice, I got my first SL2000F when in school and a Metz flash and adapter was un-imaginable due to the excessive cost. So, for the first time in 30 years I can experience TTL flash with my Rollei. I see that the Metz has an EV setting , so, by balancing the existing light, with the cameras exposure meter, I can manually simulate TTL-fill flash like the Hy6 and 6008i can do. Obviously it is a little limiting due to the slower shutter speed available.

I got a Metz 54MZ-4 to use with a SCA 3562 adapter and Hy6. I thought it would be nice to use the flash on older Rolleiflex equipment with the SCA 356 adapter. I found one 'new in box.' Turns out it works but some of the functionality did not work all the time. The little lightning bolt sometimes did not show and the function where the shutter speed on the camera is automatically set to 1/90 did not always work.

I have one of these adapters (maybe 2, even). They're yours for the postage if you'd like to transfer some of my drawer stuffing to yours....
