Hi, I've been trying to find some information on Rollei filters. Trawled through all the likely forums and threads but haven't had any luck. I'd appreciate some help from Rollei experts here please.

What's the H-1 filter for? Can I use it in place of the UV?
Is there such a thing as a multicoated Rollei UV filter? Yes I know I can use a conversion ring and a screw-on multicoated but did Rollei make such a filter?
What is the most effective Red filter that Rollei made for infrared?

Many thanks.

The H-1 is considered a haze filter for use with the earlier lenses. The later lenses don't need it. The UV filter is supposed to be for high altitudes, mountains, etc. and is different. Don't know about the multi-coating thing. Rollei made an infrared filter, "infarot" or something like that.

I just use a Bay I (since I have an older Rollei) to 52mm adapter. Granted, composing can be hard since it being on the taking lens obstructs the viewing lens.

Try filterfind.net, and also manfredschmidt.com.
