I've hacked together a petition for Rollei to produce the new Direct Positive (RDP) film for large format, which they don't initially plan to do:

So maybe your LF petition was already succesfull

Couldnt you process any LF Black and white film in a reversal procedure and get the same results? Well, roughtly I guess. Robert's insight is quite cool though.

ROLLEI SLIDE DIRECT as sheet film!

The messages in the internet are incorrect, that ROLLEI/MACO is bringing the ROLLEI RSD film "NOT" as a sheet film. The LF-film is already available, as 4x5" sheet film!

MACO PHOTO PRODUCTS is Stapelfeld/Hamburg GERMANY, has already 10x10" and 4x5" sheet film on stock. But, in 100 ea. sheets packs only!

Price for 100 ea. sheets 10x10" = 1,290 USD per pack

Price for 100 ea. sheets 4x5" = 321 USD per pack

Immeditely available ex stock from ROLLEI/MACO, Germany.

The ROLLEI RSD film has according to the maufacturer, a sensitivity of 10 ISO. If strongly exposed, the film can be processed in ALL powerful (high energy) working developers.
ROLLEI/MACO's recommendation is the ROLLEI HIGH SPEED (RHS) developer, dilution 1+7. 20°C, 12 minutes, with very good results! If this might be not sifficient, then use the ROLLEI HIGH CONTRAST (RHC) 1+4, 20°C, 8 minutes.
