Hi Folks,
I have just figured out that There are 2 Rollei kits in different package.
just notice that one has Blix and another has Bleach and Fix.

What is different between them? Are they equivalent developer bath?

This may be rather a wild punt, but have you checked the product numbers/bar code numbers on the two kits? Are they different?

I am curious as I'm now planning to change from Tetenal C41 kits to the Rollei C41, which is similarly priced to but more easily obtained in Australia.

Separate bleach and fix is highly recommended over blix for C41.

As far as I know the Rollei Digibase Kits came from Fuji ( Fujihunt C41 Chems ) - Rollei said explicide you can mix them with Fuji chems !
And the different of the one you mentioned is the "BLIX" .
I am not quite sure but it may come from Tetenal.

I just had a short look to the C41 from Rollei - you gave the product photo - nice. Well it make absolute no sense to me ( the kit with the Blix ) because : THEY SEPERATE IT IN PART A AND PART B ????? That is strong nonsense to me because the better seperate it in
Bleach and Fix :D:laugh::D:cool:....

But I would in all cases prefer the first one with Bleach and Fix , Heisenberg ! You should obtain Part C from long term stability ( CD )

they become one blix solution once you mix them.. the ones in the picture are the concentrate solutions in small bottles.

Yes you are right. If I noticed now - the blix variant shows in the picture :
CD Part A,B,C / Blix A,B !!
But Blix "B" seams indeed to be an empty bottle :D:happy::D:laugh:.....
To fill in the working solution ??

I cannot properly see the labels on the first Rollei kit but I have just looked at a U.K. stockist of the Rollei Digibase C41 kit and the bottles clearly state "Rollei Digibase C41 kit on the bottles. In the kit I have just referred to there is clearly a separate Bleach and Fix which are not mixed during the process.

What does the first kit's labels say in your picture? There seems to be 7 bottles in your picture and there are 7 bottles in the picture on the U.K. stockist's list.

It seems to me that the two kits are different hence the names Rollei Digibase and Rollei Colorchem. As has been said the Blix kit may be Tetenal or some such Blix kit sold under the Rollei label. As others have said Blix will work and some kits like Tetenal sell C41 Blix rather than separate Bleach and Fix but given the choice and depending on price I'd go for a separate Fix and Bleach kit
