I have a tripod that I want to sell but I need more information on it. It is labelled "Rollei PT 128" and also "Made in Germany Original Berlebach."

I can't find this thing anywhere online. I bought it used so I know very little about it. I used it for 4x5 and was told that it would work for 8x10 but I can't remember if I ever put my 8x10 on it. It is a wooden tripod, painted grey, and is very light. I have not weighed it but I can if that helps.

Was this a Berlebach made exclusively for Rollei? Has anyone seen these out there?

Thanks.

I am surprised to learn that Rollei had wooden tripods on offer postwar at all.

I am surprised that they painted it grey. I had a Berlebach at one time. They are pretty like my Ries tripods.

I just checked with Berlebach. They made this for Rollei about 20 years ago.

And what more did you find out?
I mean, that it was made for Rollei was obvious from the labelling, unless it was very recently made and and just got the branding by licencing from the brand owner.
