Might also consider a Bay1 to series adapter or 49mm. And/Or a Polar filter (which is +/-2 stops).

Thank you for your reply. I am aware of these options and have an adapter for Bay 1 to larger filter. I find the original filter size more convenient because I can use it with the hood on. So I'm seeing if any of the originals are out there.

If you don't find one here I think filterfind.net probably has some. No affiliation - just a customer.

Stating the obvious, as some folks may no think of it, but a third party lens hood on the 49mm filter will work as well as the original, especially if added only before triggering the shutter.

After all, once you focus is set, there's no down side to obscuring the viewing lens, no?
