Those who use Rollei ATP and Rollei Pan 25, might be interested in this. I bought my first 20 roll box of Rollei ATP 120 from macodirect.de before it was available in the USA. I recieved an email from them today, informing me that from now until July 30, all Rollei brand films are buy one, get one free. 50% off. Their shipping rates have gone up, so you need to buy a fairly large amount to make it economically feasible, but if you buy in quantity, this brings the prices of these films more in line with other B&W film.
To obtain this deal you need to type in "Birthday" in the comment box.

I do not work for Rollei or macodirect. These are expensive films, and I felt that those who use them would be interested in saving some money.

To clarify my earlier post. After re-reading the email, this sale appears to be for customers who have ordered from macodirect before, not new customers. Sorry for any confusion.

...and viral marketing in forums is their advertising style.

I get shifted to PayPal with the full price...I'll wait for my email as I've bought from them before, like the OP when ATP was first released in 120. I'd be in for 40 rolls if the deal is legit.

Am I to assume by this comment that you are accusing me of being a marketing agent for Rollei or macodirect? I was accused of this the first time I posted the availability of 120 ATP at macodirect. Why is this?

Once again I will state for the record that I have NO affiliation with either Rollei or macodirect. I am an independent photographer living in Hawaii. The reason for the post is quite simple: I think this is a great film and I want to see it succeed in the marketplace, so that it will be available for years to come. The more people that use it, the greater the chance that I will be able to use it well into my old age.

Nothing more to it than that. Get a life.

Anyone talking positive on a forum about a certain product is doing some indirect advertizing for that product, whether it is an old Graphic or a new film.

I don't see any harm done in doing that: if you find a good deal or product tell your friends about it !

Thanks for posting, surfotog, looks inetersting....

Nice - Is this the "techpan replacement" film that rivals Gigabit film for fine grain? If so, yes, I think those kind of films need to be around for a long time...very high resolving power.

Sorry, that was not about you, just a general comment. In this crisis everyone is happy to hear about special offers that allow us to buy our material cheaper, and there are many special offers these days.

In fact, I like good viral marketing. One of my all-time favourites is this one here at Youtube:

Hah, I know who you're talking about. They annoy me too (even though they are somewhat knowledgable) ;-)
