Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a Rollei 6008i and a Schneider 180 f/2.8 to pair it with. Unfortunately, after only a few test shots, the leaf shutter on the 180 seems to be stuck shut:
I have several questions about this. First, is there something obvious I'm not understanding about how the camera/lens works? The shutter was definitely not staying closed like this until I took a few frames, but maybe there's some quirk about the Rollei 6000 system that I've overlooked? Second, if I do, indeed, have a problem here, does it look familiar with this lens, or with Rollei 6000 lenses in general? I'm trying to gauge what I should be doing with this thing. I have a 30-day return window or, after that, a 90-day warranty with free shipping for repairs. I'd like to keep the lens (obviously, else I wouldn't have bought it), but I don't want to get saddled with something that is likely to fail again shortly after warranty.
