I came across your page some weeks ago. Nice to know that you are posting here.

Its not quite an error, but could it be that the normal Rolleinar sets will not fit exactly in terms of the correct "azimuth" of the Keil lens?
On each of my sets the red dot comes to stop about 1/8 turn beyond of the top of the taking lens.
If there were special Rolleinar sets for the Babies, you could perhaps mention this.

If you want, I can provide a photo of the Rolleilux for your homepage.

Jonas,

I have never used the Rolleinars. I think I have some 3rd party ones somewhere in storage but I don't think I ever aquired Rollei made ones.

Some have told me that there were special Baby Rolleniars but others have said that they were just the standard Bay 1 Rolleniars. I asked Rollei Germany a few years ago about it but got no response.

Given the closer centers of the Baby's lenses, I suspect Rollei made special Rolleniars for the 4x4. I'd love to find out for sure one way or another.

I'd love a photo, thanks! I'll PM you with my email.

Nice, good work. Great cameras. (I wish I had one  )

Right; different parallax error, useless DOF tables due to different focal lengths and format, my "azimuth" problem... the more I am thinking of it, the more a "babynar" makes sence.

Nice page. I didn't know Efke made IR820 in 127. I wish to see R25 some in 127 too some day, if only a small batch.

I find two errors:

1. The clickable link to Fotoimpex is spelled "Fpotoimpex".

2. Photax in Sweden don't carry 127-film anymore.

Strange. The Rolleinars fit perfectly on the grey Baby I had.

At the moment I only have a 1938 4x4 with bayonet on the taking lens only, so I can't test the Rolleinars. It uses the earlier three-piece Proxar sets.

JPD,

Thanks! I'll get them fixed.
