After 10 years of lack of good camera , I bought Rollei 35 S Sonnar.
I want to load film to camera but I couldnt open the puzzle.
Does its bottom come off ? How would I do this ?

Thank you ,

umut

if there is a will , there is not a way . Mad magazine

Took me a while as well. Wait until you see your first roll of negatives, and try and figure out how you got upside down.

You got upside down trying to figure out where the battery is.

I was always amused with the Rollei 35 cameras that the flash shoe for the dedicated flash was on the bottom and the flash below the lens, I can't imagine a worst place.

Yes, *lots* of much better designs around in 1966...

With flash, after setting the camera & focusing, turn it upside down to shoot.

Thanks.

I bought this camera especially the skin colors at the dark.
I never use flash with classic camera. My Leica 2F with Summitar 5 impressed me too much at bulb lights. I never saw a picture like it at any gallery , nowhere at the internet. It was extremelly similar to Rembrandt.
I found that Lucian Freud started his carrier at similar date to Summitar.
I think he mimics the same effect with paintings , from Leica.
Thank you reminding this to me.

Flash at the bottom guarantees your zombie portraits
