I want to try Ilfotec HC & Rodinal to develop 10x8 Ilford HP5+ & Efke PL100 in a Jobo 3005 Expert drum on a CPP2 processor. So that development times are not to short I intend on using Rodinal at 1-50 or 1-75 & Ilfotec HC at 1-50. Could somebody give me suggestions for development times & the number of sheets I can safely develop per litre at these dilutions?

Andrew, I can't answer your question about those particular films/developers, but for what it's worth I develop FP4 in HC 1:31, 8 mins at 20 degrees centigrade. I do believe that running with more than 500ml of solution in the big 3005 drums really puts a strain on the CPP motor, so I would be warry of adding any more than that in your cycle. As for the number of sheets, I dump 500ml of solution after processing 5 sheets of 10x8; I reckon that it's not worth the risk of poor development after the hard work of shooting LF, especially when you compare the cost of film to chemicals.
