So 1+40 fo ruse, would that be closer to Calbe's R09?

Distilled water (55°C) .................. 500 ml
Paraminophenol .......................... 100.0 g
Potassium metabisulfite ................. 300.0 g

These ingredients are brought into solution with the least amount of concentrated potassium hydroxide solution and then made up to a final volume of 1 liter.

For normal tank development the solution is diluted about 40 times.

Hard to say, the formula appears in the 1962 Focal Encyclopedia. I would start with that dilution however.
