Rodenstock lens

Is this a lens for large format camera? Lots of blades (15).
The other lens in the photo is a Rodenstock Ysaron 150mm f4.5 enlarger lens with 7 blades.

Huh? Two Ysarons. Ysaron = enlarging lens, Ysarex = taking lens. If you can ask one of the Ysarons what it can do for you, ask it.

The Ysaron will be corrected for working close up and will make an excellent close up lens. You will just need a shutter to exploit it's potential.

Tomorrow I think I will buy an old Sinar P with shutter plate. There are 2 lenses with the camera on each holder.
