Hello guys,
first post on this forum! My name is Fabian and i started shooting LF(4x5) about a year ago, so I still have a lot to learn.
I'm currently looking into long-ish lenses for my Chamonix 045 F1, and have a good offer for a Rodenstock APO Ronar 300mm f/9.
I've seen a bunch of things about it on this forum, however, I couldn't manage to get my hands on some solid information about the lens yet.
1)What was it generally designed for? Close-ups, copy work? Landscape use? I'm talking about the version in the Copal 01 shutter.
Also couldn't find any data on image circle at f/9 which is important to me as i'd like to to some portrait work with it.
2) focal flange length? 296mm?
3) If anyone here uses it, some example pictures and general experience would be highly appreciated.
Maybe someone could help, that'd be great. Thanks a bunch! :joyful:
