Hello all

I was reminded the other day that hidden away in my attic there was a Rockland Colloid Tintype kit that has been sitting there for I guess almost ten years.

Does anyone know how long this stuff is supposed to keep. The package has only been opened to check what's inside, no inner packages have been broken or opened. Can I expect it to work as described, or should I assume that the sensitivity of the material has changed somehow (I would guess decreased) ?

Thanks in advance

hi birger

there is a "test" listed on the rockland colloid website that helps determine
if the emulsion has gone bad or is still good ...

i have used liquid light that is 10 years old
and it increases in contrast from what i remember ..
i am not sure how AG plus will react to age though.
