Hi,
I don't know if ripple is a word. but my photo's which I mounted to plastic boards, have begon to riplle. I used photomount glue spray to mount them, and that seemed fine, but after a couple of weeks some ripples came to the surface. Is this a common issue, and how should I solve this. I have some presentations in a few weeks, and I hope that the photo's that I'll mount then won't ripple anymore. SO what to do?

thanks for every help. best regards SAM

That's your problem. Use some cold mount tissue by Seal.

cold mount tissue

I don't know if they have that exact product at my store. But can you describe that product to me? Is it a glue, a tape?

Thanks! Sam

I found it at google. I can imagine what it is now. I will inform at the store nearby. Does everyone else by the way agrees that cold mount tissue is the way to go???

I use Seal ColorMount for RC prints and Seal MT5 for fiber base prints. I believe both are now sold under the Bienfang name. Both require a dry mount press. Some people have managed to use an electric iron instead of the much more expensive press, but that's a bit tricky. My second-hand press has well paid for itself over many years. My limited experience years ago with adhesive spray and mounting material that didn't require heat was not good.

Bienfang has a tissue called Buffermount that will allow easy removal of the print at a later date, if that is something that interests you.
