My Ricohflex Holiday has beautiful stainless steel film rollers. So it was a quickly solved mystery when the first roll of film showed exposed bars between the frames. Mostly it was two exposed parallel lines in the usually unexposed section of film, the entire width of the film. But in one case the top third of the frame was fogged.
Unlike most cameras where the film rollers are outside the film gate, these rollers are the top and bottom edges of the film gate. It would seem that this is a feature, not a bug. Is this a known quirk with Ricohflexes?
Heat shrink tube fixes the problem nicely.
