I have just purchased a Ricoh 500RF on Ebay and am eagerly awaiting delivery. I am curious as to what to expect from this camera and hopefully someone will have some tips for me. I intend to let my other half use it as an introduction to film, and in particular available light using Tri-X or Neopan.

Regards, John.

Thanks Randy. I understand some of these were sold in the U.S. rebranded as Sears. The one your link takes me to is an older RF, larger and pre dating mine.

Regards, John

Yeah, Sears re-branded a boat load of different cameras over the years. Often times, you can get a hell of a deal by buying one with their name on it because many people don't remember a time when Sears actually sold anything.
