For those in the North Texas area, this Saturday Aug. 20 at 6:00 pm KERA will air a 30 minute documentary Look Here for Details for everyone else hope your local PBS station will air this at some point.

Thanks for the information. I did a quick search of my local PBS stations here in Massachusetts but did not find a listing. I will keep watching.

I was following his photographs in the New Yorker magazine. I would try to study and see how each subject was photographed, the direction the lighting etc.

Not likely we'll get to see it Mike as it was produced by KERA and not a PBS production. Too bad I'd love to see it, how about taping it for me??? I'd pay for a tape and shipping.

Good idea. I'll try and remember to tape it myself.

BTW, I just looked at the TV listings from the local paper, and it shows it to be a full hour. However, KERA is doing fund raising right now, so the 30 minute show may happen anywhere within the hour, or even be broken up in segments "over" the hour.

Would it be possible to distribute a computer video of it?

Another good idea, Ari, however...

I'm just guessing here, but knowing the parties involved, i.e., KERA and the Carter Museum, this is a copyrighted film. And, I'll bet that one or both of the entities will have the video available for sale.

I have no problem videotaping it off the air and giving or loaning the tape to a friend. If someone has the capacity to put it on DVD (I don't), that's similar. But, posting it on the internet, for instance, might be crossing a line. :surprised:

Just my opinion ...

A search of the PBS site shows a listing of over 200 KERA produced shows aired on PBS. I think it may show up some day.
