Hi

I just received my Analyzer Pro from RH designs but I'm confused by the manual. I have a Durst M670 that I want to connect, but do I have to connect the tranformator (Tra 305 N) to the Analyzer or the enlarger directly?

The transformator doesn't have an earth cable at the mains... So I'm confused. I can't find the voltage output anywhere online.

I just used my multimeter to check. 220V comes out so, its analyzer -> transfo -> enlarger
but the transfo has no earth.. is that bad?

Thanks

analyzer --> trafo --> enlarger is correct. No ground on the trafo is not an issue. The transformer isolates the enlarger from the 220V. It probably outputs 12V or 24V which are the common voltages for halogen bulbs. Enjoy the analyzer! It's a nice machine.

Worked perfectly. Thanks!

One question regarding RH Analyser Pro - I just bought one, but it has no accessory footswitch, which can be acquired at shd. The question is - why would I need one? I can see that the footswitch is available for many timers/analysers but really cannot find any added value...

If you are preparing to dodge/burn during an exposure, your hands will be full with your dodge/burn tool. The foot switch's value becomes apparent at that moment.

I can get one in music shops for pennies, but there are two types of them - the first one is on when it is pressed, while the second one turns on after it is pressed, remains on while depressed and turns off after second time being pressed down.
