A few years ago I shot a 400iso TMAX at 1600 and forgot about it. "ALWAYS MARK THE FILM" I make bands in the leader . But this particular camera rewinded in the cassette and I forgot.
Not only that but I criminally underdeveloped.
I am doing the scans now and I am shocked how much detail and sharpness is preserved compared to pretty much every other film.
The one pleasant effect is no overblown highlights...
Nothing beats my XX5222 Xtol 1:1 for my test but every time I see how much detail and how much room for error Tmax has I start to miss it.
