Thanks to OP and others who spend some time to show how it looks like on cameras. Lovely!
You should get one, Ko. Help out a fellow Ontarian. Matt responds to emails quickly and is pen to improvement on the product.

Well, while I was waiting for it since 2012 or so, I have grown to use S16, even indoors.
Or modern film is just more forgiving  .

I got my Reveni during a recent Covid surge, so have not had much time to use it. I'm on vacation this week so I anticipate I'll be giving it some use. I ordered a bunch of film to arrive Monday!

I was thinking of getting one for my Hasselblad 903 SWC but I already have a Sekonic 308 which is a little less convenient but has EVs in incident and reflective readings.

In addition to the Reveni, I have a Sekonic 308. It’s a great meter and not too much to carry around. The shoe mount meter makes it just a little easier to grab and go. If you are using a SWC, the Reveni readings are a fifty degree angle of acceptance. Should be move than enough to cover the field of view.

My Reveni meter arrived yesterday and I've been testing it against my Sekonic L308 also. The readings of both are within 1/10th of a stop, consistently. I'm impressed with this little thing. Last night I tested it in the house under very low light conditions and it could still give me a reading off a dark wood floor, lit only by a shaded 60W lamp 7 feet away. Hopefully this Reveni meter will last a few years, and assuming it does, I will be very pleased with it.

I had considered buying the KEKS EM-01, but the deal breaker was that the lowest ASA setting it can do is 50ASA! The tiny Reveni goes from 1ASA t0 12800 ASA. It may not be the prettiest meter around, but I can overlook that, given its performance.

Where did you find an eyepiece cover for your IIIc? Here's a IIa:

No meter flap should have been the tip off. If you want to waste an afternoon, set both the Sekonic and the Reveni to EV and match them.

I have been happy with mine, although it is almost too small. I have to shim it a little so that it doesn't fall out of my IIIc. Sometimes I just keep it in my pocket (I need to look into a wrist strap). It uses readily available LR44 batteries. I did recently find that it gives no warning when the battery gets weak. I was having trouble with it only turning in intermittently, but the problem resolved with a new battery.

Yeah that lowest ISO setting was really surprising to me, for a brand new meter. Renders it useless.

That was my opinion also.

There are several shoe-mount light meters on the market these days, and several (including the KEKS EM-01) come from China. I strongly recommend looking up reviews of the various meters before committing to buy one. The KEKS meter often gets a low score because of its inability to set an ASA below 50, which is curiously strange. The V-201X, though cheap compared to other makes, gets a poor rating because the OLED screen (on top of the meter) is unreadable in bright light. So read reviews to see what the pros and cons of the various meters are. For me, the Reveni Labs meter checked all the boxes except one: polish. Its not especially pretty, but as its so tiny, it doesn't stand out much either once its on the camera. The Reveni's features make it a clear winner for me: bright screen that's easily read in bright sunlight, wide range of ISO settings, a replaceable LR-44 battery (who knows how long the built-in Li battery will last in the cheaper meters out of China?), customizable settings and read modes (I happen to use EV values a lot, and it has an option to display EV) and the display shows how far over or under the exact f-stop value the reading is. I'm glad I chose the Reveni.

So much better than the Leica MR-4 meter I used on my M3 back in the day. I hated that gizmo.

I have the V-201X. Haven't noticed an issue with bright light on "normal" sunny days. This meter charges via usb which, depending on your situation, is a plus or a minus.

I compared readings between my Reveni and my Luna Pro SBC and found that my Luna Pro was OK;-)

Is anybody considering the new Reveni spot meter? https://www.kickstarter.com/project...ot-meter-tiny-spot-meter-for-your-film-camera
The sighting mechanism seems a bit low tech but I guess it works.

I backed the project. I'm a little concerned about what the overlay view on various subject brightness ranges will be, but having a small, featherweight spot meter will be great! Based on the first project update, Matt is incorporating some useful changes before going to production.

Like the original meter, once the spotmeter is in general release and a larger number of users are providing feedback, expect changes and improvements to be made.
