retouchable surface and reversal

hello,
My Efke 100PL 4X5 have a retouchable surface on the back .The aspect is different from the 35 mm version . Does this surface affect the transparency ? can I use this films in a standard reversal process ? Did someone try such films in DR5 ?

Hey David !

I'm sorry for this dysfunction with my mail account. I've seen my provider had problem, but I didn't think they would bounce the messages :confused:
I hope you did'nt delete your response on your computer, and maybe you could copy it here like a private message ??
I'm very interested to read your opinion, because I don't know nothing about such a film processed as slide .
