This past weekend my Retina IIIc jammed or locked up with a cassette of Kodachorme in it - alas! Dean Williams of Idaho had done a CLA on it in April 2008 (he isn't taking new work because of health problems) and I'd run several cassettes through it. That f2 Xenon is a gem!
I'm unable to release the shutter or advance the film, except by using the counter reset plunger near the shutter. Then the film can be advanced, and the shutter opens and closes very slowly.
Anyone know of a good repair source? The IIIc is otherwise in beautiful condition, and I managed to score the bayonet lens hood and an everready case which looks almost brand new. I'd like to get this little gem back in service.
