I don't think so. Isn't 70mm wider than 120?

120 film support is exactly 62mm in width, as measured by micrometer. This is 2.4 inches.

70mm film support is exactly 70mm in width with a picture area of (surprise) ~62mm.

This was measured in inches and metric with a dual scale micrometer just now in my lab with both films.

You have to cut it down to use it as 120. I made a trimmer for that. Doesn't work worth a damn. 70mm is the right width for 116/616, though. It's not hard to wind up with the backing paper. The only reason I fool with it at all is because I got 100 feet free.
