Thanks! I had never heard of them before. There website comes up as un-secure (as in red bar through padlock). Since I'm fairly ignorant of such things, I'm always a bit leary of un-secure websites.
Glass Key's checkout facility is secure.

I’ve been using the EcoPro “Xtol” replenished since 2017. No problems.

Which confirms it can replenish itself -- are you using the same replenishment rate as Xtol (70ml per 8x10 equivalent)? It's about the same price (not the half price some of the reviews claim) for a 5L pack as actual Xtol, but if it's available now (during the Xtol famine), it might be a good substitute (as a replacement, not as a cross-replenisher).

cross replenishing would be a worthwhile experiment, but who has any Xtol right now?

Well, apparently Bormental and I have working batches we recently started replenishing. Mine is from a 2002-expired package, his was presumably fresh when he mixed it a few weeks ago. His is probably much more depleted than mine; he shoots much more film than I do.

I am not risking my batch! I still have four Xtol bags, that's going to last a while.

I'm not very interested in experimenting with my stock or replenisher, either -- especially when it may be near my use-up date before I can buy more. It is, however, good to know that Eco-Pro ascorbate developer can be treated like Xtol overall. I can buy that and switch over if Xtol becomes hard to source for too long.

If Xtol were easy to get now, it would be another story (and you could make a case that if there's a problem I could just switch to the Eco-Pro) -- so I may give it a try eventually, especially if Xtol is still hard to find when I'm down to my last liter of Xtol replenisher.
