Hi,
Sadly last weekend my ground glass screen for my MPP 5x4 camera broke and I am looking for a new replacement screen.
I asked Robert White, but they do not sell any screens that fit.
Does any of you know where I can get a replacement ground glass screen (Dimension W=103mm and Length 130mm).
I live in the UK.

Appreciate your answers

Stephen Hopf who trades via Ebay (just search for focus screens) or Geert - GVB screens in Belgium. Alternatively make your own it's remarkably simple, and quick, takes less than half an hour.

Many thanks for your answer, I looked at GVB and it looks great. I could not find any focus screens on ebay that might be suitable, but am intrigued on how to make the screens yourself.

Could you supply me with some instructions please?

Christian, if you search the web there's a couple of illustrated articles, meanwhile this should help.

It's harder to cut the glass than actually grind the screen, but as costs are so low you can try making them at different grades/finer-coarser. I started when I needed a screen urgently but need to make a bunch more next time I'm in the UK.

I'd say Geert is not much of an option, it takes at least 6 months to get an order. I've waited since I paid on the 17th of february this year. It's been "in production" since 7th of april. No answer whatsoever from him when I've asked for updates. Make your own or try Steve Hopf.

Thanks for your answers.
Thanks to Ian for pointing me in the right direction. I searched the internet and found interesting articles and will probably make my own screen, since, as Jerevan has pointed out, a screen order from Geert will take a long time and I can't find Steve Hopf on ebay
Anyway best many thanks and
best wishes

I've bought a couple of small (6,5x9cm) glasses from Steve Hopf and they're fine, and delivered quickly to Europe too.
