I've been really pleased for 10 years (!!!) with my inexpensive Canon pixma iP4700. It finally succumbed to the fatal 5B00 ink absorber pad error message.
Any suggestions for a replacement? For large prints I go to a lab, I just need small prints, maybe up to 8.5 x 11. The iP4700 has a rear tray for all sorts of media, and has been really versatile.
It also has a really small footprint on my desk.
I'm kicking myself for not buying a backup years ago.
