Hi!

I would like to sort out the bellows on my folding Autographic 3A Model C, the coating came off the current ones:

I was thinking of masking everything off and spraying plastidip or undercoat on them, but am now considering replacing the bellows.

I know this would be tricky as:

- there are different types that fit different shutters
- the bellows are riveted on, I’d need to drill them out then maybe use small bolts and nuts to reattach?!
- Id need to glue the other end of the bellows

Any suggestions on what I would do? I’d like to get this light tight and somehow convert it to run 120. The shutter and aperture seems to work.

thanks

Leon

Not sure if your camera is on this list but sometimes you can find the replacement bellows on eBay. Since you have the old bellows you can make a pattern from them and build new ones. It’s not easy but it can be done, I just made new ones for a Kodak Vest Pocket Autographic. There are good instruction available online for making them.

Hi I had bellows made for an Agfa a few years ago by Sandeha Lynch. http://www.sandehalynch.com/camerawork/bellows.php
UK based but shipping just bellows shouldn't be much.
Really nice work. Your camera isn't mentioned on the website but as you have the pattern it may be possible depending on how much you wish to spend? If he's still doing bellows?
Steve.
