Repairing a Unicolor agaitor

A while ago, I won an Unicolor Uniroller, the seller stated it was working. However, when I got it, it was deader than a doornail. I got my money back, but now I am left with a broken motor base. Are they repairable? I opened it up and nothing looks broken or out of place.

Any advice, guys? Thanks.

Sounds electrical. Can you check the switch for function, the power cord for continuity? If those two are good, then the motor is shot and may not be worth doing any more to it.

I had a bad on/off switch on mine. The switch was mechanically good, but the switch contacts had tarnished badly. I sprayed the switch with contact cleaner, switched it on and off a lot and it worked.

Everything had continuity. Damn, the motor must be shot to hell. Time to find another.

Does the rotor on the motor move if you push it? Sometimes these low power motors sleeve bearings bind up and act dead, but you can put a few drops of 3n1 oil on it and might get things going again. Then again many of these are completely sealed, good for doorstops.
