Normally when your flash unit stops working, you just toss it and find another, because repairs usually are much too expensive. But I've got the small, dedicated Minolta flash unit for my Minolta CLE rangefinder camera -- it recently stopped working and I'd like to get it back going. I know that I can use just about any flash that is dedicated to the Minolta X-series SLRs, but these are usually much bigger and don't maintain that small-camera look and handling. So -- anyone know of someone who could fix this flash, hopefully without asking for an arm and a leg? Thanks!

The problem is most likely a dried up electrolytic capacitor. Unluckily repair shops if you can find one the repair cost would be more than finding a replacement off ebay.
