Repair To Take Up Spool

I have recently picked up a Minolta XD7 but the part of the spool that you feed the film into is missing,any idea if this can be replaced and is it a cheap and easy repair

yes it can be replaced..not sure how easy it is on a Minolta, but on a Canon A series it's about the biggest job you can do - you have to remove everything - not just the winding deck, but also mirror box and shutter unit to get the spool out....

Hopefully it is easier on a Minolta...
