last time I checked Ken Duncan and Peter Lik still use Linhof 617 (as well as digital).

I don't like Peter Lik or Ken Duncan much, so I tend not to count them...

Saying that, I would sell out in a heartbeat if it'd make me as much money as them.

Lachlan,
Are you renowned yet?

Chris

Perhaps for my silliness, carrying that magnificent camera of yours!

I was recently out in the middle of nowhere with a mate of mine who waxes lyrical about his Pentax 645 D and its weight. Should have seen his face when I pulled out my (90ltr) backpack and Manfrotto 161mkII with Majestic head.

Whilst not renowned, I'm still shooting B&W 7x17" and 6x17cm colour. Thinking of building a 4x10" for the biggest colour pano images currently possible...

I'd be curious to see what you produce. Do you have anything viewable online?

I've got a 9.5" wide roll of Ektachrome LED-Output that I still haven't tested. If it works well enough, and outdoors, I might contemplate building a 9.5" x 20" camera or something for it.

When I win the lottery.

Meanwhile, I'm not sure how 'renowned', at least big enough to still be churning out books, but Peter Dobre still uses film, lists a 617, 612, mamiya 645 and f100 on his website.

I'm sure that there'd be some 8x20" shooters (and at least one 7x17" shooter!!) who'd love to shoot some colour....

Only on the dreaded Facebook, Hoffy...

Personal account or another page?

OK, there is a method to my madness here. I have just finished renovating my new lounge room and would really like to hang a nice pano on the wall. With the colours in the room a nice ochre based landscape would look quite nice. I could take an image myself, but to be honest, landscapes are something that I do occasionally (read that as I have done them once or twice).

I have been thinking limited edition prints, but I am not sure whether I want to spend the money required. That being said, I don't necessarily want to hang a Ken Duncan or Peter Dobre poster on my wall either!

So, maybe I should make this a casting call! I'm looking at hanging a 1 metre pano. I'd prefer it to be a MF or larger film based image. I'm not too fussed if its printed optically, as long as its quality.

Cheers

(PS, like many here, I would have to say I am not much a fan of Lik or Duncan either for various reasons......)

How about a B+W pano toned in coffee or something?

Hoffy,

Have a look for AGFOX. I haven't shot colour much, but starting to get back into it lately.
