This is rather silly but I cannot figure this out.
I have a Mamiya M645Super with a winder. On the right side of the camera where winder grip will be located, there is a prong that serves both as an anchor point for the shoulder strap and a mounting point for the winder itself. On this side, the strap "prong" on camera body is longer than the other side.
On the other side (left side), I can remove the strap and the metal bracket by lifting the tab then it just slides out. On the right side, how is the metal bracket removed from the prong? Prong is too long on this side to accommodate the mounting of the winder; therefore, I cannot remove the metal bracket for the strap the same way.
Does the long prong somehow screw off from the camera or come apart in some way?
There got to be a way....
