Woo hoo, here we go again...

I own and shoot with four Rolleis - three 'flexes and one 'cord, which I'm assuming counts as a (Let's Pretend?) Rolleiflex. Does this mean I have four lives?

Golly, if I buy five more Rolleis, then I'll have nine lives, just like one of our cats.

Problem is, I can't afford five more Rolleis at today's insane prices.

Conundrum...

Zeiss and Shneider are good glass as are Rodenstock, Nikon, Canon, Mimiya, and most Wollensak, Ilex, and a few other vintage brands absorbed by those in the list.
Smooth operating light tight boxes that hold the lens and film come in many forms and no one brand or design fits everyone's hands nor are their controls convent for all to use.
Its nice that a brand and type of camera toots your horn, but the one that toots mine is yet to be made but Nikon pro SLR's and Graflex Graphic 4x5 come very close.

I'll sell you my vintage Rolleicord (1936?), Rolleiflex Automat (1941), and Rolleicord V (1953) for $1,000 each.

I know what this is all about. I retired my Rollei about a decade ago and replaced it with a Hasselblad. My life has been miserable ever since.

The closest I have is a Rolleicord. I never use it. 6x6 is too small. How about a real camera - like a Mamiya Press with a 6x9 back? Or, better yet, a 4x5 RBGraflex? Now that's something. Unless you can find a 5x7 Speed Graphic - that's even better. But you really can't beat a Horseman 8x10 - unless you're strong enough to carry an 11x14. And then maybe, if you're really serious, get a 20x24 camera and a truck. A real truck. Don't forget your phone to capture all the selfies. Make sure it's a good phone, too. No half-assed no-name bullshit phones. And, while you're at it, grow a beard. And drink real beer - Pabst Blue Ribbon!

The Rolleiflex world is a poetic one.

A well rounded collection would include a Rolleiwide, Tele-Rollei, 2.8F, 3.5F, T, Rolleicord. And then, add a few variations: triotar, xenar, Tessar, xenar, xenotar, planar...

It’s all nerd talk, really.
But not in my case: I am the rare bird that actually prints, analyses, recognizes and acknowledges all the differences. For example, I have printed over one thousand prints of Rolleiflex negatives this past month.
All so much fun.

@NB23 you sound like there's The Rolleiflex to be had. I continue to be mildly confused by their Rolleiflex lineup. With prices ranging from $500 to $5K, there must surely be a much wider variation in experience than between Leica or Hasselblad models: the difference between 500c/501cm/503cx is microscopic, and the same is true for M6/M7/MP.
