Explain what you mean by refurbish. Are you referring to the light seals? Or are you looking for complete disassemble and repair information?

Actually, this raises a question: Who works on these cameras (and backs)?

To the original poster's question, did you mean "repaint" rather than "reprint"? Refurbishing vs. repainting is a big difference.

repainting is ok if you also body shop your auto otherwise the refurb will look worse - resist the temptations.

The 2nd problem is the original paint was abrasion resistant you need an equivalent or it won't last.

Now the inside of a metal lens hood is different...

Why bother painting? If the back works, just use it! There isn't much metal showing on the back anyway, its mostly covered in leatherete.
