Absolutely!

Man, I'm so looking forward to the moment his will hit the market. Let's hope the price point will be somewhat attractive and not just "Portra price minus 15%".

For me, this is way bigger than the whole Harman thing - and it's not getting any attention at all. Ridiculous!

A 25 sheet box for the price of Kodak's 10 sheet box would be perfect

It would make me a happy camper for sure. I'd definitely buy it at that level. No doubt about it. And if it would print anywhere decent at all, I'd be a repeat customer in no-time.
Heck, I'm having loads of fun with ECN2 film; this surely can't be much worse, can it?

Saw it on Facebook marketplace. Seller said his Aerocolor 8x10 films were from a group order in October

Ah, so a Chinese party has also gotten their hands on some of it. Btw, they're difficult to Google...that is, when I search for "plumpfilm", I get results that are decidedly unrelated to sheet film photography.
Looks like this guy sells an unopened box for $170; I assume it's a 10-sheet box. Feisty.

Well, they announced that its available for order in 4x5 and 8x10.
The price for 4x5 (20sheets) is $99, for 8x10 (10sheets) is $199

Well, that's roughly half the price of Ektar or Portra 160 - not accounting for taxes, shipping etc. Might be worth a try at that price point.
It does motivate me to look into acquiring a big roll of the stuff. Apparently, people are picking them up here and there since the cut sheet material is appearing on the market, so someone's bound to start reselling rolls as well.

I've only scanned Aerocolor so far. Having scanned and printed maskless Rollei CN 200 and Metropolis I don't expect printing Aerocolor to be a problem. It won't look like Ektar or Portra 160, of course. I expect a bit lower saturation, a bit more muted colours compared to Ektar/Portra. Maybe I can print a frame over the weekend...

Scuttlebutt is that the CatLabs 120 color is Aerocolor...

I have some 4x5 on order with Reflx.
If all goes well & Santa is kind to me, maybe some 8x10 in the future...but I have some Portra in my freezer that I need to use before investing in more 8x10 film.

Ah, sorry - by rolls, I mean 5" rolls. For 120, I'm happy with Portra & Ektar and for 35mm Vision3 suits me well.

I should ask if I can get a 5” roll from them, as MOQ from Kodak is too big for my scale

IMO, way too expensive for a film coated on a thin base that curls and for which they cannot guarantee it is indeed cut correctly - as stated in post #8.

The base is very manageable, and not nearly as hard as some folks make it out to be. Yes, it’s a bit more fiddly, but if you know how to load regular film, it’s not hard at all.

As far as cutting, nothing is perfect. I try to aim for +/-1mm, ISO standard, but can’t be 100% sure all my films are like that, obviously. Though I feel pretty confident in saying that any film I send out will fit in a standard holder.
