Would a #25 red filter have the same effect on XP 2 Super as it does on 400 TMax on the sky and clouds?

Yep.

XP-2 Super has extended red sensitivity. Adding a #25 red filter would tend to block out a lot of the cyan light. I would guess that the effect of adding the filter would be more pronounced on the XP-2 Super than on 400 TMax.

Thank you Mark and Matt!

I wasn't sure because of the difference of the two films.

You bet.

BTW Ilford's SFX is their extended red sensitivity film.

XP2 has normal panchromatic sensitivity.

Oops - Mark is entirely right!
