Hi, I have a much loved OM2n that needs a good clean and lubrication. Can anyone recommend someone who services OM cameras? I am in Australia but willing to post OS if need be.

His site was last updated in 2017 and he says he does not touch Pens, any of the Oly RFs etc. How long ago did he work on your Pen FT?

That was 2012 - my how time flies!
He has prices still listed for Pens so likely for CLA only. Repair depends on parts availability which I would think is typical for all these older models. Best to reach out first.

“I no longer repair the old Olympus RF cameras like: 35RD, Original Pen, Pen EE, EE2, Pen W, Pen D etc.
IOW ALL PEN half frame viewfinder models.”

He hasn’t touched his site since 2017…

Of course my Pen FT is not the viewfinder type and the OP is about OM models.
Typical of long discontinued models, a donor camera may be needed for parts but not for CLAs. It doesn't hurt to ask.

I’m wondering if he’s still around seeing he has not touched his point of work contact for over 5 years now. I don’t require his services but maybe someone else does.

I think this is John Hermanson is it not? He is active on the OM film camera Facebook page so I think he is still at it. I noted in 2021 he said he was no longer services the Pen F or FT.

Absolutely the worst thing to think of sending a camera overseas for service.
You will eventually see it again, if it has not become lost in the mire of COVID hangups (USA, Japan).

Try Vintech in Lonsdale Street — Mitchell House, on the corner of Elizabeth & Lonsdale.
5th floor, 358 Lonsdale Street.

Yes, good point. I will call them. The US guy is not responding.
