Marcelo,
Your wife and mine must have been twins at birth that were separated. My wife has no love for any of my cameras. Many years back I had bought a Korona 5X7 view camera from the turn of the century. I stripped it down, refinished all the wood and buffed/polished all metal. After I had it all done, I put it on an old wood tripod and set it up in our living room to play with. She looked at it and said, "Now, that's one camera I wouldn't tell you to get it out of here". I sold it a little later for a little profit. I often thought that if she liked that old Korona she would really like a Zone VI, Tachihara or a Wisner 4X5, but I never got one. I did just order or got on the waiting list for a Chaminox 45N1 so I'm curious to see what she thinks of that. Hey, maybe it will be on display in our living room? I think not. JohnW

I am assuming you have the older models? Or did you buy some newer ones.....

I have some of both. I like the later ones with the blue writing, as they changed the darkslide from a composite material to aluminium.

I see! I found that the later ones are fairly expensive so I was just wondering what the trade-off is. I do like an aluminum dark side.
