Since some 62 members were interested enough to read this request I would like to tell you about the great books and book source I found.
As David B and Chip Forelli the Maine Photographic Workshops instructor suggested, Timothy Whelan is an excellent source. He offered five of the following and by chance was driving nearly a thousand miles one way to visit family in the next town to me the following weekend. I cant promise the same service to everyone.
Timothy spent time with me on the phone. He understood exactly what I wanted and produced or suggested books that are giving me the feel of the mid Maine coast mostly through the eyes of excellent B&W photographers. They are showing me many view points of what kinds of subjects, moods and conditions I may encounter. I can hardly wait to get there.
Highly recommended.
