For sale is a beautiful multicoated 120mm f/5.6 Schneider Apo-Symmar in the latest style Copal 0 shutter with 7 aperture blades. The glass is clean and clear with no marks I can detect and minimal dust. There are no dents or dings, and only the barest evidence of use on the lens cells or the shutter. The original caps and retaining ring are included. My kitchen scale says the lens with caps and retaining ring weighs 7oz (that's 200g for those of you who speak metric, my scale is bilingual). This lens has a published image circle of 179mm at f/22 and accepts 49mm filters. It's one of the lenses Kerry Thalmann included in his web page on lightweight lenses for 4x5, and the sample he and Chris Perez tested performed very well at its recommended taking aperture.
I'll be doing a couple of workshops this year and have decided to clear out equipment I don't use to pay for them. Unfortunately this lens is on my "sell" list. I don't often go this wide and have a couple of other choices around this focal length so I can't justify keeping this one.
