Re introducing myself

Hi All

My name is Lee Turner from the North West of the UK.
After an enforced hiatus of 8 months I am now able to start with my photographic pursuits again and get back on to APUG.
Without going into detail the past 8 months have contained two major family illnesses, a semi complete house renovation, job redundancy, new job with a lengthy commute plus the normal day to day trials and tribulations. Last weekend I managed to dust off the enlarger and clear some space, drag the LF gear out of the cupboard and start to learn to use it again.

Apologies are also due to a couple of members. With everything hitting the fan at the end of last year I didn't manage to complete my prints for both the international and UK print exchanges. I still have all of your details and will get some prints out by the end of August.

Thanks also to BWKate for a couple of prints that arrived unexpectedly and cheered me up no end.

Time to get the subscription fired up again.

Many thanks for your replies. It's amazing how time flies when you're not having fun and the past months have gone past pretty quickly.
The first job is to wade through the many hundreds of posts and catch up with what's been happening on the product front. It all looks pretty good, sad to see Forte go but glad to see new products on the market plus the resurrection of some old favourites. The frustrating part is that now I'm all keyed up to start taking some photos but the weather has been absolutely awful in the UK. Hopefully it will be better in Autumn which is my favourite time of year anyway.

You are very welcome for the print. The print you sent me awhile back really cheered my mom who was in the hospital at the time. That's great how both our prints cheered each other up when we both needed it! Hope to see you posting!
